Back at it!

Hi GIRS!

I've been out of the reefkeeping hobby for the last five years since I made the move to Iowa. I'm originally from Alabama and have always kept various tanks over the years. With my dissertation defense approaching, the itch to do something else has been growing and after finding a deal on a Oceanic Biocube 29 HQI on Craigslist I just couldn't resist the temptation.

My tank was established about three weeks ago and so far only contains a Bangaii Cardinal and a couple polyps + some pom pom xenia (Looking to get some X. elongata if anyone has some). Everything is looking swell so far, ammonia and nitrites are at zero with nitrates on the rise. In a month if corraline is growing decently I might start to pop in a couple SPS frags and begin thinking about what Tridacnid I want to add.
