Those look very nice! Have you ever considered making one that could be used in a tank (for tanks that do not have a sump such as a QT tank/10g/20g/etc)? I personally don't want a long shaft hanging in a 20L and 10g tank that I occasionally run so I topoff by hand. I'd prefer an ATO

 

I make a small suction cup float switch and one that mounts to tank rim.you have to use a float switch in the tank but rest would be mounted elsewhere
