Anemone eating my anthias

So a month ago I took a couple fish out of my tank. It stressed my anthias out and he scratched his eye on something in the process. Over the last three weeks his pop eye was back to normal but he would not come out of his cave to eat. I tried hand feeding him but not sure if any food even made it to him. Today I came home and my bubble tip was halfway closed which is unusual. When I looked closer at the anemone my anthias was vertical in the anemone dead with only his face showing. I removed it from the anemone and his tail was gone. I figured the antias might die because of lack of food but is it normal for anemones to eat dead fish? I had a hermit crab for over a year and he died this week. What is the normal life span for them?

Simple answer, YEP! Anemones love fish---no different then feeding it silver sides.

Sorry about the anthia, glad to hear the RBTA is thriving.
