Looking to Buy Amphipods

I am getting started again after a few year break, and would like to establish an amphipod population. Does anyone in the Des Moines area be willing to capture some to sell? I would rather give my money local than order online.

I was planning on that route, but have read their not what they once were. how was your experience. For 10 bucks i wouldn't be out much.

I have a bunch in my chaeto/refugium and live in ankeny.

 

Reefs2go is no longer, they changed their name to something else. I have ordered from 3 pod places including them and would do so again, pods are huge. I have heard bad reviews but I was told from others it was with their coral. I have ordered zoas from them and they werent the best.

Which? Their new name is aquariumdepot. I looked quick and didnt see anything about under construction.

I tried ordering from them not too long ago and there was no where to enter payment. You could add it to your cart but couldnt pay. I emailed them and they said they changed websites and had a new name. I usually bought 2 of the 1000 pod packs when they had the BOGO. They ship them in a chunk of foam/batting and its kind of a pain getting them out.

 

Yea, that's kinda was I determined. Too bad. It seemed to be a good thing for a while. I thought about indo pacific sea farms but it's a lot of money for bugs.
