Looks like it might be bryopsis... but I hope not.

Pretty sure it's bryopsis. Might be time to look at nutrient levels. In the mean time get some tech m and elevate magnesium levels.

For sure bryopsis, fern-like structure. Been there before, if that's the only rock its on so far take out the rock and trash it (I'f small and can live without) and definately time for a jug of techm to kill off any other that's lurking around.

That's what I was hoping... Never seen it fern up so clustered before. Good thing the new RODI system is shipping out today!! Will pull what I can and soak it in h2o2, also time to spike some mag... Thanks for the positive indent guys!

Peroxide may not kill it 100%, at least didn't for me. I used a pretty heavy concentration 75% peroxide 25 water (a lot I know, zoas were ok tho) and they looked clear after it bubbled up and appeared to die....but was growing back in a week or so. If its a small rock I'd suggest tossing it out doesn't appear too big or have corals on it, just from my experience. Is it just on that rock or other spots also? Techm does do a pretty good job, love that mystery impurity in there whatever it is.

Remove whatever it's on if possible becausee pulling it will release cells and will ll spread it faster.
