Algae scrubber?

    Oh, sorry. I thought you were on there quite a bit. I never followed the threads so I wasn't aware.


    Don't you have a scrubber site or forum?

    does it bother the efficiency of a scrubber, if you clean it more than once a week?

    It depends on the growth you are getting. I let the one at Grove & Platt Dental grow for 16 days and by that time, the lower half of the screen is completely up against the window (2-1/4" thick mat from window to window) and it's still green and well attached at the screen level.


    But if you're getting dark dense growth and not green hair, cleaning more often would be in order, but still at 7 days unless when you clean it the growth underneath is pretty much dead.


    That being said I have customers who claim they have to clean every 5 days and the growth is very thick.
