a few suggestions needed...

    I have some aptasia and I would like to find a fish that will eat it. It would need to get along with a blue tang, foxface, 2 blue yellow tail damsels, pair of perculas, and a diamond goby. Any suggestions other than copperband would be great. I bought one and it lasted a month before it croaked on me. Thanks!

    peppermint shrimp but they can be hit and miss dont know how big of a tank you have but the more you get the better the chance.  ive talked to a few peeps and they have said its took several trys to get a copperband to live.

    I've had excellent results with peppermint shrimp.

    What I found that works the best is to kalk the big aptasia, and then get a couple peppermint shrimp that will eat the smaller one, and then keep any new ones from getting big. Soon you won't be able to see any.

    How do you go about kalking them? The pep shrimp are appealing, but do they need any special things, such as food lighting, or additives? Thanks! Oh and the filefish is definitely a thought too. Ugly little monster, but cool.

    There is a way to kill them with a door bell by making a shocker, which is harmless to fish. Just kinda google it or go onto nanoreefs.com and look it up.

    Some very good suggestions going here. I think the peppermint shrimp would be anice addition anyway so i think I'm going to get some. Any suggestions on where the best place to get them price wise and health wise in the Des Moines area? And is there anything special they would need to keep them at optimal health? Thanks again, matt.
