New to Iowa

    Hello everyone. I'm Justin.. Just moved to Charles City a few months ago from Charleston, SC. I've had a 120 gal. tank for about 3 years now. Currently working on getting it put back together after the move. I'm all about the DIY. I've built tanks, sumps, LED fixtures, media reactors, and like to get creative with what my Apex can do. I think I enjoy the tank more than what's in the tank. In the past I've always had a bunch of fish and a few random corals. Now I want to focus on the corals. Always looking to find a cheaper way to get what I need. Always looking for a trade or used stuff for the tank. Can't wait to get everything up and running and meet some people around here in the hobby.

    Welcome to Iowa, you picked a good time to come out, in a snow storm. Did you bring any of your critters from SC or are you starting fresh?

    Starting from scratch. I was planning on getting out of the hobby, but after 6 months I realized it was officially an addiction.

    Welcome to the club! Hopefully you can get plugged in quickly. If you have any questions about becoming a member, there are several of us that can help answer those questions. We just had one large frag fest and the next one is already in the works.
