I am thinking about purchasing 1, possibly 2 EcoTeck MP40 w es pumps, but I would like to try it out first before shelling out the money. I was wondering if anyone was willing to lend me their's to try out and see if it will do what I am hoping or if I need to go up to the MP60. I have a 310 gallon cube with 3/4" starphire glass but I can't seem to get adequete water flow. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/blush.gif

Your probably gonna want 2 mp60s on a tank that size depending on your rock structure. I have 2 mp40s 2 mp10s and a wp25 on my 120.

That is a ridiculous amount of flow for a 120 isn't that a 4ft tank? 2 wp25s would be more then enough or your mp40s .... truthfully you can do 2 wp60s on a 310 would be more then enough or you can get the wireless ones rw20s I think that would also be sufficient enough.

I wouldn't say a redicolous amount of flow just chaiotic. It a 4 foot tank bare bottom all sps tank. Alot depends on corals and rock work to keep all detritus suspended. I haven't used the newer rw jeabos yet so not sure on output on those. But would definitely save you a bunch of $$$.

Lol. On my 155 bow I have 1000gph returns, 2 wp40s and a wp25... I forgot I added the wp25 to get more flow cause of the rocks /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif so you are correct def depends on rock work

  8. Ya I'm guessing you will need the 60s. On my 4ft 75 I use a mp40, mp10, rw15, AND wp25....it all depends on the rockwork and type oof corals you want to keep
