Des Moines Area GIRS Christmas Party

We have choosen our date for the upcoming Des Moines Area Christmas Party and are excited to bring you a lot of great things this year! The date will be January 4 between 11-2. The party will be held at Jeantte Beckers house (1630 Greenbranch Circle, WDM.)


What is exciting about this?


We will be making Papa Murphy Take and Bake Pizza!


We will be doing our annual White Elephant Frag Exchange! (Everyone that wants to participate, needs to bring a frag with them)


Also we will have raffle prizes that are currently being ordered!


You do not want to miss this party as it will be a great time to meet several of the new Board Members and also you will get to meet the new trustees for our region! A lot of exciting things going on this next year and we were blessed by a lot of great things this past year!





Please post in this thread if you are able to attend! Need to get a good idea of who can come!

For anyone going to the party I have a mostly full bag of silversides and a mostly full bag of mysis shrimp that I can give to anyone who wants them. Just let me know!

Im thinkin I should be able to. Just tryin to work on a sitter for the boy. Is it from 11 am to 2 pm? Theres gonna be a raffle? Thats kinda fun. What are the prizes?

Thanks for the patience! The time has been set and confirmed. It will be from 11-2 and there will be Pizza for lunch! All the prizes are currently being ordered so I can't tell you 100% what we will have at this point. It depends on what is in stock and what is out of stock when we order!


Hope to see everyone there. Right now it looks like there are about 13 people that will be there! Bring a frag for the white elephant exchange!

 

Is this just for the Des Moines area? will the other areas have their own?
