Be careful adding anything in that will kill them as when flatworms die they are very toxic. Your best bet is to get some small hard tubing and some small soft tubing an suck them out. We use a nylon or filter to catch them and re-cycle the water back into the tank. If you are consistent in doing this it will help and you will overcome your flatworm problem. This worked well for us. - Jason & Betty

This is in a 10g so I don't think a wrasse would be appropriate LOL.

I was able to siphon 90% off the shrooms before they got cranky enough to close on me. Will go back in later once they open up again. Do these buggers live all over or just on corals?

I've heard people having success with flatworm eXit...ditto to Jason's point about siphoning them out. Too many dead/decaying flatworms in your tank water can do bad things. Here's an article I read a while back about getting rid of flatworms. http://www.melevsreef.com/flatworms.html

get a sixline it worked for me.

Everyone keeps recommending the wrasse. Am I wrong in thinking that 10g is way too small for such a fish?

Sounds ok to me I just didn't want to be putting a fish in the tank that simply wouldn't be compatible. Now where is the best place to get an appropriately sized six-line?

If they grow to 3" it must be a very SLOW grower----I've had one in my tank (75gal) for well over a year and it has'nt grown much at all----My opinion is a Six Line would be fine.

Well that is a relief. What about bioload. I already have two clowns and a bicolor blenny in there. My levels always read 0 and I am skimming like crazy. Just don't want to do more harm than good.

Hey Bela If you could save some of the worms for me. I want to try and get some to infest a 5 gal. tank and feed my red coris with them if he will eat them. I could also finely frag the pink rainbow acan and get a piece to you. I'll drive to you I'm off Mon. and Tues.

I siphoned off a ton of them, but realized quickly that I have more than I thought. I will get them in a water bottle with tank water if I find more (I am sure I will). Will they last? I suppose I can wait as well, I don't THINK they are harming anything?

If you do find some more, yea just put them in a bottle leave the lid off. Put a small amount of food in it and leave the bottle open if they die owell thats what you want right. Monday eve should work for me, or anytime tuesday to meet in Ames
