Video: Cheeto Algae ball in Refugium

    Took a vid of the algae ball in my fuge. Used the output of my bio pellet reactor to make a spray bar to get some rotation in the fuge section of my sump. So far, so good!

    I’m using the Kessil H380. That thing grows some algae!

    Looks good! Will be interesting to see how this rotates once it doubles in size

    It grows fast! I’ll update you once it grows a bit.

    I had to prune it weekly before I added the spraybar. I had tried some cheaper lights in the past but never got the results I get with this Kessil. Pricey, but worth it.

    How big of a tank? Must be a pretty good sized bio load if you're running bio-pellets and getting some big time growth on cheato.

    It’s a 220. I do have quite a few fish so decent bioload. I have been seeing less and less algae in the tank since starting the Chaeto. I may start slowly removing some biopellets over time and just use the Chaeto. Not positive though...
