Tank Tour - November 23rd!

    Hey guys!


    We would like to start the tank tour early in the morning at 10 AM. Lets meet at the Marriot Hotel in West Des Moines at 9:30. The hotel address is 1250 Jordan Creek Pkwy. We would like to be at our first tank at about 10 AM. We will most likely be done by 1:00 or shortly there after. All three tanks have confirmed, and this brings us to the west part of our area region! Lets show up strong and support our friends out to the west!

    Chris -and would love to participate but we have family in town that weekend.

    Nik - CC is a destination in itself. The last time we had in on a tank tour we never made it to all the members tanks so I would suggest having it be on another separate event.

    If we set up the tank tour to include a couple of homes out there, I think it would be ok! I would come I know. Other local members could chime in with their opinions.

    Last year when we were planning tank tour, someone from that area spoke up - but we decided to do the tour on the south and east sides of Des Moines. Whoever it was had multiple tanks. Was it you?????? I think a tank tour on the west side would be fine for a change. Too bad Dave is not available that weekend. He has a nice set-up.





    Hey Rob - doubledn - can we twist your arm into showing off your tank?????

    No...wasnt me...if im free itd be kinda fun I think. But depends on other locations. .I cant think of anyone else who is out this way even close to me...I have a pretty basic 120 mixed reef.

    I have to check on a thanksgiving thing but if I'm not busy there then I'd offer up my house for a tank tour. I'm in the middle of Des Moines, does that count? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    If everyone that is interested in doing it, could PM me their addresses and I will try and set up a possible route that would be great!

    Also it is a lot easier to renew online then at the fest and you should be able to walk in quicker!
