I'm a little late to the party, but I have plenty of trips planned this year that should pan out many locations. I will start with The Scott Aquarium at Henry Doorly Zoo. I was just there on Sunday.

    1) Stegostoma fasciatum

    Common names would be helpful.

I can include common names from this point on. However, the rules state to include the species name. Being from a scientific background I feel comfortable with nomenclature. The first part of the scientific name is the genus, and the second part is the species. This can avoid confusion that common names present. A specific species can be referred to by multiple common names in different regions. And on the other hand multiple different species are generalized under one common name across many regions.

I understand your point. My point is that common names in addition to scientific names would be helpful to most people I would imagine. I am capable of telling they are sharks. However I'm not so proficient to be able to easily tell for instance if I am looking at a leopard shark, nurse shark, lemon shark, or a sand shark.

I took a trip to Dubuque on Sunday, and while I was there I found a few more submissions. The first 4 are from my uncle's tank and the next 3 are from his friends tank. My uncle just recently switched from aggressive fish and is battling cyano.

    13) Centropyge bispinosa (Coral Beauty Angel)
    14) Chrysiptera cyanea (Blue Damsel)
    15) Chromis viridis (Green Chromis)
