    Nebraska Aquatics Supply is having there annual birthday party. The Des Moines Region has always made a presence here and we will have a raffle for those members who can attend. NAS always has a good sale on all coral and livestock, along with a lineup of great speakers, plus their own raffle. This is on Saturday September 26th from 10am to 7pm.

    Current speakers are Lemon "Tyk" all the way from Singapore, Mr. Saltwater Tank - Mark Callahan (who you will see again in November at our Fall Fest), Planted Aquarium Guru Luis Navarro, Fish food extraordinaire Larry Dupont and planted aquarium expert Robert Lowery.

    Dave and Fence13 have offered up 2 seats each for people interested in hitching a ride. Let one of them know if you're interested.

    There will be 3 prizes that the DSM Region will be raffling off all GIRS members who can attend.

    They're all out for me. 9/13 parents in town (but MAY be able to make it)
    9/19 out of town, most likely (95%)
    9/26 is Nebraska Aquatic Supply's annual shindig. Probably a bad weekend to do it.

    I didn't see they had announced that yet. Good call Bud & Sponge. Nebraska Aquatics Supply has always been good to us. In keeping with the several past years we'll have a raffle of some salt and giftcards for the members who can attend.

    I definitely want to go to Nebraska Aquatics Supply. In the past I have always been at college soccer games but this year I can make it! : )

    Great. I'm glad you are going to hold off til october. I'm planning g to go to Nebraska aquatics and have stuff going on the other weekends in Sept also.

    I vote for the water testing.

    I would like to go to NA shindig as last year I was not able to attend. Hopefully the wedding doesn't interfere..........

    Yea everyone should come to Nebraska Aquatic Supply's anniversary party. I think it's close enough that I'll be able to make it!

    Jim just announced on Facebook they will be raffling off Mark Callahan's 450 gallon tank. I don't think you can buy a ticket, in the years past it was one ticket for entering and another ticket for every $50 you spend.

    There's no way I can make it, unfortuantely. Major big time unfortunately. 7am football pics. 8am football. 11am soccer. 1pm soccer. 3pm soccer. Maybe I could make it by 6

    I would love to catch a ride there with someone. My daughter is driving down from Sioux City to attend and then will give me a ride back to Urbandale.

    Wonderful! Great list we have going here everyone! I know Maureen was interesting in carpooling. Did others want to as well?
