    I have a pc 4 that seems to have a short inside of it.
    It works fine unless you jostle it around and then it shuts off.
    I am thinking about opening it up and seeing if I can find the short.
    Has anyone opened one of these up and looked inside ?
    Are they repairable?

    I think I have a fried unit that I can crack open. Not sure if I tossed it or not honestly. Let me look tonight.

    But, it should just be a standard power strip with some extra things in there for individual socket control. Opening it up might void the warranty but it's not (likely) going to cause it to fail worse than it already is.

    I got it used 20 bucks.
    It definitely has a loose connection inside it because if I smack it it'll come on and if I set it down real easy it stays on.
    If I pick it up and rotate it it loses connection, power everything.
    Yeah let me know what ya find out.
