    Hello,

I've not been active in this forum but am hoping that some local reefkeepers in CR might be able to help me out. I've allowed an undata coral to overrun my 200g DD, it is over 2' wide and has scrolled up vertically over a foot. It is touching multiple pieces of my reef and I'm sure its pretty heavy so I need help pulling it out, also could use help holding on to pieces of the reefscape so they don't topple over. I plan to smash it back to its original size, so there will be a ton of pieces if anybody wants them. I had sold frags of it at a Fall Fest back a couple of years ago and they were very popular, it is green with brilliant green eyes and purple rim, super hardy (which is why I'm in such trouble; also had an accident/injury but can't really use that as an excuse for my bad husbandry :D). I also have some frags of pineapple zoas and other corals overgrowing that I can offer up to any helpers. This tank needs a major haircut!

Can anybody help me this weekend (or next)? I think I need at least 1-2+ people, it will probably only take a few minutes once I have things ready to go.

Why not just reach in with a bone cutters and trim it back that way yourself? Would be a lot easier and you wouldn't have to worry about knocking rocks over.

Thank you for the responses. Ray, Jen, Jeremy I would appreciate it.

This coral would laugh at a pair of bone cutters! It will have to answer to a hammer, or more likely, my driveway. Sorry I don't have any photos at this point or it might be clearer. Its the size of a BIG punch bowl.

If you smash it in your driveway, please make sure to get some good video of it.

"Driveway fragging with Alex" could be a hit YouTube vid.

Thanks everybody for the kind offers. I may have more help than I really need! But should be several frags to give away anyway. I have gorgonia that needs to be cut back.

My address is 3321 Emerson Ave NE it is 1/2 mi south of 42nd St on the right. If anybody can bring Aqua Gloves that would be great.

Thanks guys for the help last weekend. Really happy to get that huge undata out of there.

Aussie is highly recommended for prying off skimmer parts! Really happy to get that skimmer up and running again too.

    Thanks so much!
