I was in Miami last winter and noticed that they did use it for landscaping around there. The walkways at the zoo were lined with 2 to 3 foot pieces.

We were at a resort in Mexico a few years ago and all the sidewalks were edged with LPS coral skeletons. Kind of made me cringe.

I have never seen it used up here for that! I just thought someone did not know what it was. Funny.... think of how much we pay for it. Bet it is cheaper down there!

A couple pics I took at the Miami Zoo. There were big chunks of what looked like the mined dry rock everywhere.

It is a nice zoo but it is huge. I think they said it is 340 acres. We walked it for 4 hours and I don't think we covered half of it.
