Tank Build! Half cylinder tanktank

Ray and I picked this half cylinder tank in Peoria illinois Friday. We rented an enclosed trailer and hit the road.
The tank was up and running but has been neglected since June, all they did was added water and kept fish fed.
150 pounds of rock was in the tank. The rock is no good , it will need an acid bath in the spring. Hair algae took over the tank . It was so bad that we couldn't see into the tank . After tearing the tank down we headed home .
It took a day and half just to clean the tank. The steel stand was covered in surface rust . Ray sanded it all down and repainted it .
The base is 2 pieces of black marble. The stand is 2 inch squared tubing. The top of the stand is a huge half cylinder of granite.
Now the tank .
They said the tank is 144 gal. The dimensions add up to the 144 gal. People have stopped by and says that it's a lot bigger than 144. I think so too .
