    FWIW - We have a fire and cleaner shrimp in our tank and they get along fine. They typically hang out just a few inches apart.

    The Fire shrimp seem to be less bold than the cleaner shrimp. They are super pretty though and usually have a fairly long life span.

    Really? Everything I read online sounds bad. I've kept them seperate I have the cleaner in a 16 and the fire in my 40 I really feel like the cleaner does a better job

    I also have a fire and cleaner shrimp together with no problem. Fire is pretty shy but cleaner roams tank and sometimes hangs out with fire shrimp with no problems.
