   How often do you guys clean out your sumps? I noticed I got alot of crap laying in the bottom of mine. I was just wondering if it would hert anything to pull it out and give it a good cleaning.

   Depends on the sump, but siphoning monthly can get you a long way. There is evidence that detritus is taken up by some corals so losing some back into the tank is not the end of the world.
