August meeting

    will be on the 14th and be held at Nicks aka rabbitreef in muscatine.
    Nick has taken over the care of the library system in muscatine and 1 other from my understanding and has become quite the reefer.   The meeting will start at 5pm but if you wish to stop and see the library tank it is open from 1-5, feel free to go early and check it out.
    PM me for his address and any other questions you may have.
    ps the topic will be on water quality

    we dont do members only meetings army unless its a special event. We decided that they are educational and everyone stands to learn something from them.

    If anyone want to check out the Library and will want to see the sump, Please let me know. I have the key to open to take a look at the sump. I will go the the Library before 5 and also for who isn't planning going to the library can go ahead to my house. There will be somebody let you in. Looking forward to see you guys!

    Thanks Nick for having us. Your setup is absolutely awesome. You sure do have a keen sense of reefing, keep up the good work

    No problem, It was fun. I did learn more about phos and carbon. Im helping my friend's restaurant maintaining 220 gal that runs phos and carbon. This tank has very small amount of sand at least 1". It does get up to phos 0.25 once awhile. I run BRS GFO & Carbon reactor.This meeting got me advance in understanding by the means compare to my 120 with 3" of sand along other down in the sump that only runs carbon. I never seen that gets more than phos 0. Overall with this meeting really has advanced in knowledge.
