So I have a water box cube 20 g and it didn’t come with a stand... so I was thinking or wondering has anyone ever used a vanity with a top before and would it hold the weight?

this is what I was thinking to use..

    Any advice

I need 18x18 I know this one is smaller then what I need just found a quick pick for a idea

I’ve seen others who have used them before. Will definitely hold the weight of a small tank

I think you've got a good idea there.

I build cabinets in my spare time. Most vanities will do ok for a small tank.

Most vanity's are Probably built better than most commercial tank stands. Buy a quality product.

Could you post what you end up using? I'm in the process of putting together a Waterbox Cube 20 as well. I'am currently just have it sitting empty on a file cabinet in my office.

Well this is what I came up with might add a 2x4 to the back of the cabinet to add more reinforcement

Here is what I went with. Pets Playhouse had a 20x18 Marineland stand for $134. Fits perfect and the height is nice next to my desk.

By the way, do you need any filter socks for your Cube 20? I'm using the InTank media basket so I have the socks that came with the tank still in the box.
