2022 grow out event!

2022 Grow out event sponsored by Chummingham Reef!

We have some great corals at fantastic prices to use in a grow out event.
The rules have changed so please read carefully.
Every time you post your grow out pic you get $5 back.

Vivid Wild Thing acro $75 ends up being $25.

Frosted Cherry Blossom Acan $60 ends up being $10

Special thanks to Xiaoxi and Chummingham Reef for providing the corals.
Now the rules:
1. Must be a paying member.
2. Must pick up corals from a trustee. All corals for each region will be sent to the trustees or arrange your own shipping or pick up.
3. Every month you post a pic you will get $5 returned to you at the end of the contest (maximum $50). It is preferred that you post on the GIRS Facebook page #GIRS22growout and here on the forum. Not everyone uses Facebook so one or the other will be accepted.
4. Instead of prizes for most growth you will receive $5 for every post. So if you post 10 times you get $50 back per coral.
5. If your coral dies you can still get reimbursed if you post a coral/fish/ocean news article or meme or anything interesting on GIRS Facebook #GIRS22growout or/and the GIRS forum.
6. No more than one Acro and/or one acan per person. ( if there are extra corals when the contest starts we will sell the extras to contest participants first)
7.Contest will run September 2021 to August 2022.
8. First 15 people in each category to Pay Pal are in.

it’s open as long as we have corals. We still have about half.

We had a little hiccup but things are rolling again. Plan to start around September 23ish. Don’t wait get your coral reserved before they are gone.

 

The Acro is scheduled to be shipped for Thursday delivery. If anyone has ideas on how to get them distributed to Des Moines or Waterloo LMK. If your in IC or CR message me about pick up.
