I grew up in the Mount Vernon area. Graduated high school in 1980 and joined the Navy. Of all the places I have been, I liked the Washington State area the best, so after 10 years of moving around I finally ended up back here in the quiet little town of Hansville on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. I work in Seattle. My commute to and from work is 2 hours and a ferry ride each way. I commute most days by a 2003 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic.
I have had freshwater tanks for many years. In March 2009 I started my first saltwater tank. I had a great mentor. He was in the process of taking down his 1000 gal tank that he had running for over 10 years. His fish were acquired by the Seattle Aquarium. I received a lot of equipment and live rock and knowledge from him. I started with a standard 55 gal tank. I have since upgraded the 55 to a 75 gal RR tank, added a 54 gal RR tank and a 34 gal Red Sea Max. And yes I also have freshwater tanks. Pict
