I've been on a couple different forums where they have a long-running thread where people can post what they're working on any given day. It's kind of a cool way to track people's progress and get ideas. So I thought I'd start one here.

Me? In the past couple weekends I got new tank, stand, etc. I still need a skimmer, so I might troll the net a little for that. Maybe grab some more live rock.

Main Tank: Working on getting my frag tank cleaned up, doing a few extra water changes and getting the big 3 back where they need to be (Calc, Alk & Mag).

Nano: Just finished up a center piece rock sculpture that I built using smaller pieces of live/dry rock, reef epoxy and rigid airline tubing. I'm letting it cure a bit in my main system, which can easily absorb the nutrient spike, before I place it in the nano. I just added saltwater, a piece of live rock and live sand to the nano, so it's going through it's initial cycling process. I don't plan to add any livestock for at least 3 more weeks.

    Automation!

We are going to yellowstone for 12 days so getting my top off water automated & tuned in, automatic feeders, lights on timers, and so on.

I have been pounding everything with mysis getting them nice & fat in case one of the feeders fail while we are gone.

Working on cleaning main tank since I got an infiection from an open wound while cleaning it last week. The wrinkles were nonexistant on my knuckle. Setting up auto top off and building stand for new sump setup. Oh yeah, need to plumb external pump.

A little ambitious but I have to start it at some point, I've had the ATO equipment for 3 months now and with me forgetting to turn off the water last night that was almost a disaster.

I'm putting the final touches on 6 algae scrubbers and shipping them out, then I have to install one, make some water, and mow the lawn. Oh yeah and sleep.

Lets see, final fit on plumbing then glue up, finish up the inside of my stand, start building the walls for my fish room in the basement, replace 2 GFCI plugs, run the drain line for my sink in the basement, etc. etc. etc., and get in touch with Bud for some acrylic projects that will need to be done. This is all on top of work and sleep.

Speaking of that I'm expecting an algae scrubber that hopefully I'll be installing on my tank soon.
I have the 4th off, may just try to do it then.

    Congrats on the son Marty!!!

I just bought my 40 gallon breeder sump from petco from the dollar a gallon sale. Thanks for posting guys almost forgot about it. I have my 90 gallon corner RR and my skimmer a Euroreef rs 180. The rest comes from my old system. I will be making plans here soon to layout the build and ask people for sump and plumbing ideas. I also as usual am waiting on Ai to come out with the Vegas so the build will also be waiting on them. Plus need to build a wicked stand. I hope to hurry up in this my nano is getting a little cramped.LOL

Your welcome. I got a email though my Pals card and posted it right away. I think I was the first to post about it. I figured people would want to know asap.

Long weekend coming for some. Thought I'd bump this back to the top.

I'll be spending the week trying to get my skimmer situation sorted and thinking about whether i should set up a sump or not.

If you have the room set up a sump. You won't regret it.
