Like reefs?! Try SCUBA Diving!
By ToTaLCHaoS13 @ 12:45 PM :: 76 Views :: 1 Comments :: :: Off Topic

Last year my wife and I finally decided to go ahead with a desire of mine from childhood.  We went through our local park and recreation department sponsored SCUBA Diving course and I'm proud to say passed!  While most of our dives have been in the midwest so far, we did get the chance to do so in Jamaica this last November...and was it ever worth it!

It's surprising how many places around the Midwest offer classes and one or two day dive trips.  If it's something you are interested in I would encourage you to check with your local park and rec office or YMCA.  You may also be interested in the "Our World-Underwater 2008" event in Chicago this February.  For more information go to http://www.ourworldunderwater.com/.
