We are entering the slow time of year for the club.   Summer is almost here and people are doing things outside after being couped up all winter.   It seems the last thing on peoples minds is their reef tanks.

Things will pick up again in the late summer/early fall, but in the mean time, if you hae an idea for a summer activity for the club, don't hesitate to bring it up in the forums.   Sometimes all it takes is for one person to ge the ball rolling!

Jason Brunken will be giving a presentation on "The Basics of a Sucessful Reef Tank" at this months meeting of the Eastern Iowa Aquarium Association (EIAA).  Jason lives in Marion and currently has a well established 200+ gallon reef system.

The meeting will be held Tuesday May 12th at 7pm.
