Photo Contest Voting Now Active....

We have had a great turnout for our Q1 Photo Contest....

Please stop by the Contest page and vote for your favorite photos.
Remember.....You can vote for as many photos as you like but you can only vote for any one photo one time.

Thanks to all who entered the contest, I must sat there are some impressive photos entered!!

Its now up to the club members to decide the winner.......Stay tuned!!

I apologize for my mistake on the photo contest dates....I have made the adjustments to the contest and everyone now has until midnight Friday 21st to get your entries in...

Voting will begin immediately after the entry deadline is past....

Once again I apologize for the issue and I hope this has not caused anyone to much grief!

If you have any questions please post them in the thread in the photo forum.

Time is running out!!! Get your photos entered in the contest!

We are down to the last few days for entries into the photo contest.
Entries will not be accepted after midnight on Friday, so get those pics polished up and get them entered!

Voting will start right after the entry deadline has passed so even if you didnt enter a photo, you can still stop by the contest and check out which photos you want to vote for.
Lets have a big turnout for voting and show support everyone who entered.

The Waterloo tank tour is this Saturday.

We will meet up @ 2:00 @ Emporium Pets on University Ave.

From there we will goto Casey's in Cedar Falls, Jeremy's in Evansdale, and Craig's in La Porte City. If anyone would like to add their place as a stop you are more then welcome!

Photo Contest Now Live!

GIRS first ever photo contest went live last night at midnight.

The GIRS contest page is open and the the photo contest is up and running, so get your best 3 photos or go and take some great shots of some corals and get them up on the contest page.

The Theme for this contest is "Your favorite coral"

A $50.00 DR Fosters and Smith gift certificate awaits the winning photo!

Just look for "GIRS Contests" under the Community Tab of the GIRS website navigation menu at the top of the page. Once you are in the contest module you can enter a photo or just browse through the photos that have already been entered.

The winner will be selected by the members here at GIRS durring the voting period that starts on March 20th. Also dont forget there is a thread in the Photo furums to discuss the contest.

Hope to see entries from all of you!!
