Please join us for the first Des Moines Area meeting. The topic will be lighting with the main focus being on LED lighting. Remember all non paying members are allowed to attend one meeting. Cedar Falls/Waterloo Area Tank Tour

Our tank tour is going to be on January 30th, starting at 1:00.

This is a member only event. If there are any non-paying members who would like to attend, please contact me. Non-paying members can attend one area's event to see all the benefits of paying the small fee of $20 yearly fee to become a paid member will be.
There will be 5 stops. We will be having a Poker Run style tour, where at each stop, each member will receive a card. 5 cards=5 stops, so if you make every stop you will have a perfect poker hand. The person with the best hand at the end of the tour will receive a $20 gift certificate to their choice of any GIRS supporting sponsors. I will get the winners email and have the card/certificate mailed to their home.
I look forward to seeing all of you there!

To finalize the 2010 trustee announcements, we're actually bringing on two more (for a total of three trustees) secondary regional trustees to Des Moines. They are:
gb387 - Brandon Geier
Gered - Gered Burkhardt
These two guys, in addition to the primary regional trustee Rustin14 - Austin Reynolds, will be the Des Moines area trustees. Please welcome your new trustees and thank them for their continued service to the club.
