Thinking of up grading my protein skimmer

    I am running a Reef Octpus 150 now but have been thinking about going alittle bigger (working it to death/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif What kind of protein skimmers is everybody running and are they happy with it. Love to here your input Thanks

    Love the reef octo.

    With running alot of SPS, you should get one rated for 25% more then your tank capacity

    I like my Reef octopus too. Mine is the internal SRO5000 10 inch cone. I went big just in case I upgrade to a bigger tank. You could probably get the 3000.

    +1 on reef octopus. Can't beat it for the price and the gate valve let's you tune them right where you want it. Always go bigger.... Wish I did.

    I'm looking for a great skimmer too for my 34 G Trigger System Emerald sump. Tagging along to see what everyone recommends
