Kessel led #60 series.

    Took down the entire 125rr due to a broke pump, wet carpet and a pist wife. Invested some time & money into my cave (basement) to have my tank plus a large utility room behind tank for access and maintenance, to and the like.
    In short I'm 4 weeks out to being able to start moving stock back. At that point I want a lighting situation worked out. I have been running one 250w halide and two t5.
    Looking at doing 3 kessil a160 plus 4 54w t5s that I have. What are other's experiences? Does this seem like a sound idea or am I skimping too much by not going to the a360?

    IMO I would just go with 3 Kessil A360WE's and be done with it. It's not much more for the 360 and much more light. I don't know how you'll fit the T5's since they're 4' and it'll be going over a 6' tank. I have a 360 and really like it. If you have or will be buying an APEX you could wire them up to sunrise/sunset on one end of the tank at a time. By saving a couple dollars buying the 160 vs 360 now you'll no doubt regret it later.

    I think you should try to find A250. BRS had them for $299 a while back. It would save you a little money. I like my A360's
