When feeding corals, give the shrimp a large piece of their own kind to entertain them for a while...

    Thieving bastards!

Something like this crossed my mind the other night while I tried to coax a peppermint shrimp out from underneath a perfectly stacked arrangement of live rock in my main DT. I found myself with a tube, capped on one end with slits in it (to let the bait attract them), and the other end open... my thought was that I could bait the shrimp into the tube, then nab him up! Then I realized I had just put mysis shrimp in as bait, which made me think about how creepy it is that they would still go for it since its shrimp... Ultimately my trap failed because I got impatient after 5 minutes of waiting! I realized just how much time I wasted engineering and waiting on a trap when I could have removed & re arranged my rock in time!
