I had big plans to add a Reef Octopus BH-100 to my biocube this weekend as well as my new ecoxotic panama pro 2.0 leds. The skimmer was in hand and the LEDs don't get here until Friday. I have read that you don't need a skimmer on a nano tank as long as you do frequent water changes but i wanted one. I suffer from insomnia and decided to do at least add the skimmer tonight. . I had to cut a bit out of the back but it wasn't a big deal. entire project including removing all the cords from my hood, taking the lid off, installing the skimmer, hooking everything back up, and doing a water change took 45 minutes. It has already begun to skim (see darker photo of skimmer with no flash). I also took several members advice and rescapped my coral after i posted pics on the forum a little while ago. The piece that was too close to the lights has been relocated within the tank. The smaller rocks in the front have not been permanently placed yet. I am including the pic of the new seascaping as well. I also did a water change and stirred up my tank, sorry about the cloudy water.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
