Thanks for adding me at the last minute, especially being that I said I wanted one thing and then later bailed on that. Did they give an estimated arrival date?

Our DFS order shipped last night, via Fed Ex Home delivery.  It shipped in two packages.  Not sure whats in each package.  Right now one of them is listed with an expected delivery date of 3/18 -though that seems a bit quick to me.  I'll let you know as I see more.

Ok - so I looked today at the tracking information.  The product is shipping in two packages - don't know what's in either box.  One box (with most of the product, based on weight) is going to New Berlin and then via U.S. mail.  It's estimated arrival is listed as 3/23.  The other smaller box has an estimated arrival of 3/18. ........

Hmm that is strange. Who ordered something wierd!?

You're right!!! It was Joe.  The 1st package arrived today - a 3' long tube.  Couldn't guess what was in it.  Turns out its the 24" gravel tube that Joe ordered.  Only thing in the package. 

Geez Joe! That seems weird the rest is taking so long. My DFS orders take 2-3 days with their flat rate price.

I've had it happen like this before too.  I called DFS to ask why, but they couldn't tell me anything.  My theory though, is that it has to do with the size of shipment.  With all that we ordered, the other package is 7 pounds.  Its being shipped Fed Ex Smart Post, which means that it starts out Fed Ex, going to some central point and then finishes via the US Postal system.  I suppose for the larger shipments, that must be more economical, but then it adds a few extra days. 

Yea I noticed that too. My big order was sent fedex, and took 2 days. But when they shipped the one small item I was missing it was sent FEDEX Smart post, and came via the post office. Like you said proablly to save money.

Ok guys - so the tracking info says that our package arrived at 1:37 this afternoon at my local post office.  Maybe I'll get the package on Monday.  If not, I would think that it would definitely be here on Tuesday.  I'll keep you posted

The order arrived. Hooray!!!  Let me know when you want to stop by and pick-up.

just to let you know the koralia evos are on sale at marine depot i ordered 2 of them and they will be here tomarrow
