I have yet to test for Magnesium and I know I really need to but I am having trouble finding a test kit locally,   I have never asked anyone at the local stores just looked around...  are they really that hard to find locally?  Where do others purchase theirs, online only?   (DSM area)

The only place that I have seen them locally is at Adam's for about double what you can get them for online.

Adam's - 40.00 dollars

www.saltysupply.com - 17.00 dollars

Thank You! Is one kit better than the next or about all the same?

They all test pretty much the same, the difference is how easy to read they are. Salifert kits (which were for the prices I mentioned) have a pretty good reputation.
