    Will Chaeto and the use of an UAS try to out compete one another or are they able to coexist.

     

    Looking at adding some chaeto to grow pods and lower phosphates but I have an UAS that is somewhat effective.  Just looking for others thoughts.
    90 Gal AGA RR, 2 AI Sol Blue's, magnum 350, WP40, 30 gallon transformed tank sump, Turbo Twist 18W UV, 200 micron filter bags, Eshopps PSK-150 skimmmer

    I have heard the algae scrubber will eventually out compete the chaeto for nutrients. But I don't think it would hurt anything to go ahead and try. Whats the worse than can happen? The chaeto won't grow? Then you would know for sure.
