You are still asking for a flood trust me. You need to have the bracket that holds the filter sock below the rim. What I would do (and have done for 2 separate tanks) is make the horizontal part of the filter sock holder the width of the inside dimension of the lip of the rim (the narrowest measurement) and then solvent weld (acrylic) or silicone (glass) a strip for it to 'hang' on the trim. This way if the sock overflows, it is guaranteed to dump into the sump Also you want the brackets to only be along the long sides - let the end be open (no bracket). The way you have it, if the water overflows it only need to pool up about 1/32" before it runs over the rim - and it will. Although with the nylon sock it probably won't ever overflow, from what I've heard at least. I have a few (looks like a Caribbean) but haven't tried them yet. the 200 micron takes a while to clog, the 100 micron fills much faster. You will probably end up using the 100s eventually.

Nice job on the sump
Thanks

I think this will salve the problem.. Yes it is what I bought at ACC when I was there. Its more of a Screen 200 Micron then a sock. They are easier to clean out I would think.

Thanks Again

Update,

After Receiving my Moon lights from www.Digikits.com(Ebay) Today and showing them off and the Party in North liberty today. I figured out just placing them over the canopy will work for tonight. They are great lights and work very well at full light and dimmed to lowest setting and from over a foot away from water.
I will have to get pictures up in the next few days of the moon lights, but for now I will add some updated photos of fish I added and of my sump.
