I'm in need of stocking up on a new CUC and was curious where people have been having good luck buying from. Defenetely want good sized snails and crabs and a decent price as always. Its been a while since Ive ordered anything so figured I'd throw a post and see where the deals are at. Thanks!

Sadly I've been getting my snails off of ebay lately. I can get 200 for $18.75.

1/4" to 3/4" when they arrived. I count at least 40 on the glass all day long and look to be over 1" now. Only had about a month. Wish they'd work more on the canyo outbreaks but no green stuff any where. I got some blue hermits from reefcleaners and the hair alage was gone it 2 days.
The snails are Nassarius's which I've come to love cuz they save them selves when they fall. Now dont add snails and hungry crabs to the tank at the same time. The crabs think there snail friends are food. ;(

I am curious to see how these ebay snails do long term. Are these the nassarius obsoleta species? The word on Reefcentral has been that these are an Atlantic, cold water species that don't do well in tropical SW tanks.

To ThyRaven: nothing eats cyano. Your best bet is to siphon it out during water changes.
