    Wow....that looks like a great idea, and not all that pricey for what it is. I'm hoping soon I'll have somewhere to put frags, and soon after that frags to swap .
    300 gallon mixed reef; mostly Zoas, Palys and LPS
    I like 'em colorful, cheap and hardy.
    I like my corals the same way.

    Thats a good solution not only for swaps, but for those who are moving their tanks around or to a new home. I'm sure I'll apreciate something like this for corals once I get moving to Ames for grad school in a few years

    Yeah, but that stuff would float around.  Making it out of acrylic weighs it down so you don't have to worry about that.  And designing it to use square buckets that you can put into a cooler...IMO, this design is terrific.  If you were going to DIY, I would copy this design as close as you can.  Obviously a lot of thought and consideration was put into it.

    I know there's a cat litter bucket that's quite simuliar to that one. But I'm sure the fresh step would cost over 10 bucks alone.
