I absolutely abhor politics. The ammount of outright lies and half truths spewed during political campaigns is a great look into the human condition.
That being said, I have not missed voting in an election since I turned 18.
Fact is, one of the greatest powers we have as Americans is the ability to change our leadership if we don't like what has been happening. It is a great right and privilage to be part of this process.
So, go out, vote your heart. Vote your mind. Vote your emotions. Vote because of a love for buttons to push and lights that light up. Just go vote.
And if you don't...don't whine about the country 2 years down the road.
