We need to start thinking about who will be the GIRS trustee for Des Moines. I am going to self nominate as I have taken over for Ryan Holl in the last month. But I would really like some others in Des Moines to throw their hat in the ring as well. It is really quite a bit of fun to put these events together, although we can't forget it takes some work too.

So, please respond here to self nominate or to nominate someone else from the area to be our trustee.

Dave, Ryan #2 or #3, Jeremy, Cagri, Jeanette, Brandon? There are plenty of folks around with entusiasm and good ideas and of course love of their tanks around here. Who would to help lead this part of the state to more activity? I am sure I forgot some names in there, please speak up!

I wouldn't mind doing it but work comes first and every other week I am on call 24/7.

Joel - I'm in favor of you for the nomination.  But I'd be happy to help out in some way.

Thanks Jeanette, I am hoping to bring a normal swap to Des Moines again or maybe a mini-swap. Also with monthly meetings and another tank tour help will be needed.

It depends on when the tour is.  I plan to have it up there in March.  Hopefully I can get it set up and have it looking nice before the tour.
